Plantium is a mobile application designed to help you identify plants using advanced artificial intelligence. Simply take a photo or upload an existing image of a plant, and the app will analyze it to provide you with the most likely identification, a detailed description, and additional images of similar plants. It's your personal gardening assistant!

Our AI-powered algorithm analyzes key features of your photo—such as leaves, flowers, stems, and overall shape—and compares them with a vast database of plant species. The app then suggests the most probable match and provides an AI-generated description to help you learn more about the plant.

For the most accurate identification, use clear and well-lit photos that focus on the main features of the plant, such as leaves, flowers, or fruit. Avoid blurry or distant images, and try to capture the plant against a plain background. Close-up shots of leaves or flowers often yield the best results.

Yes! You can either take a new photo directly within the app or upload an existing image from your device’s gallery for identification. This flexibility allows you to identify plants from photos you've already taken.

Our app uses state-of-the-art AI algorithms and a comprehensive plant database to deliver highly accurate results in most cases. However, identification may not always be perfect, especially for rare or visually similar species. We recommend using the app's suggestions as a guide and consulting a local botanist for critical decisions.

For each identified plant, you’ll receive an AI-generated description, including its scientific and common names, care tips, and additional images to help you compare and learn more about the species. This information is designed to enhance your knowledge and gardening experience.

Your privacy is our priority. When you use the app, your photo is securely sent to a third-party service for identification purposes. Additionally, we store the photos you provide so that you can conveniently view your identification history within the app. You can delete your history and associated photos at any time through the app’s interface. Currently, the app requires an internet connection to process images and access the plant database. Offline identification is not supported at this time, but we are exploring ways to make this feature available in the future.

If the app cannot confidently identify your plant, try uploading a clearer or different photo that highlights key features such as leaves or flowers. You can also explore the app’s suggestions for similar species or consult a local botanist for further assistance.
